The early snowstorm that we had here on October 29th served as one more reminder that Christmas will be here before we know it!  As we stood at our counter sorting ornaments, listening to Christmas carols and watching the snow fall, we had customers that were in the Christmas spirit as well. Everyone was in the mood for the holidays!!!!!

          How does one go about shopping for an artificial (or permanent) Christmas tree?  Clearly it was more of a chore for some than for others, but for all of our shoppers it was a purchase that needed some thought.  After all, this purchase would help make their holidays shiny and bright for many years to come. Friends and family would gather around to admire this purchase so it had to be just right.

Preparation
Give consideration to where your tree is going to be.  Measure height and width of the area where your tree will be.  We will be able to supply you with those measurements on our trees.  We offer trees from 2ft. to 12 feet tall and in a variety of widths, from slim to extra full.  We can even tell you how many tips your tree has, in most cases.

Another consideration will be your lighting.  Do you want a tree that is pre-lit, eliminating the hassle of stringing lights every year?  Our pre-lit trees are ELT certified (Electrical Testing Laboratories) giving you a superior product.  They have a 3 year guarantee on the lighting.  If you have
a problem, we will make it right for you.  If one of your lights goes out, the rest of the strand stays lit.

Our trees are all as easy as 1, 2, 3 to set up.  Most come in three sections.  The stand goes on the floor; the first section goes in, the second and then the third. Easy, right?  Pre-lit trees may be a little harder, as there is a plug that hooks into the section before.  Each section is wired separately so there is little room for error. After your tree is set up, it will need a little “fluffing” to help it look natural.  We can show you how. Don’t forget, if you have a problem, we are just a phone call away.  Each year we put up well over 100 trees, so if there is a problem we can help you with it. Our trees feature reinforced stands and trunks and have a 10 year guarantee on their frames.  Most have heavy duty hinges and brackets.  (Hinges are a great thing, eliminating the need to place individual branches into the tree trunk.)
 
Selection
Tree lights are available in several different styles.  We have trees that have clear white bulbs (the most popular), trees with multi color lights, trees that have specialty lighting and trees with LED lights which will save on energy. We can show you trees that we have strung with other lights and tell you how it’s done.  Perhaps you may want an unlit tree.  This will save you some money and allow you to choose your own lighting. 

Take Down and Storage
Take down of your permanent tree is easy.  Simply take the pieces apart, “unfluff” and put them in the box until next year.  To make your life even easier, we sell storage bags that will eliminate the need to “unfluff”.  Your tree can stay basically as it is.
